CNC Laser Cutting Machines for Acrylic Materials
Marking and Engravingfof Acrylic Materials
Achieve new milestones in your manufacturing process by integrating AP Lazer machines into your production lines. We design CNC laser machines that cleanly cuts through and etches effectively on acrylic or plexiglass — a material with diverse uses and is widely utilized in all industries.
Acrylic has a wide range of applications, from everyday products like clothing, furniture, and home accessories to less conventional uses such as windshields for automobiles and reinforcement for bulletproof panels. Our CO2 laser machines for acrylic processing can reduce errors, minimize wastage, and prevent delays in production.

Streamline and ModernizeYour Production of Acrylic Products
Given its vast range of uses, acrylic is one of the most sourced and processed materials in manufacturing. It is easy to cut and can be manipulated into any shape or form. Efficient machines for processing acrylic are, therefore, essential for improving the way factories manufacture acrylic products or products with acrylic components.
If your business is any of these two, you’ll have lots to gain from AP Lazer’s CNC laser machine for acrylic engraving and cutting. Our machines boast an open-architecture set-up, which allows you to update functions and personalize its features according to your needs. Our larger models also have a versatile design: you can remove the laser top, which will give you more space to cut, engrave, or etch acrylic objects that are bigger or wider than the provided workspace.
This the largest and top-selling laser engraving and cutting machine. The patented removable top and open architecture design coupled with the large 48” x 36” engraving space frees you from size and weight limitations.
This laser engraving and cutting machine is a great choice for most of your needs. The removable laser top, EZ-leveling system, and high power 100w laser tube makes this a powerful resource - especially for larger products that do not fit in conventional “boxed” laser systems.
This laser engraving and cutting machine is our standard model. The removable laser top, EZ-leveling system, and high power 80w laser tube makes this a powerful resource – especially for products that require a more portable system.
This laser machine also features our patented open architecture design. This is the smallest and most portable version of our laser, weighing only 75lbs.
Technology and Acrylic are a Perfect Match
With over 10 years of technology and market research in manufacturing, we know the issues that many users have when using laser engraving and cutting machines. AP Lazer builds laser cutters with all of those in mind. One of the umbrella solutions we arrived at is to use the latest CNC technology in our laser machining solutions.
Our acrylic laser cutters are highly customizable, as a result. Businesses that use our technology can set the precise dimensions, shapes, and depths of the cuts, engravings, and markings they want to make on acrylic materials. As it is computer-aided, the laser machine can continue operating even without constant human supervision.
In a nutshell, AP Lazer machines can help improve many aspects of your production line, such as speed, wastage, and quality control. Small or big, businesses that rely on laser cutters for acrylic products can trust the AP Lazer brand.

On Which Acrylic willLaser Cutting Work
Acrylic is available in two types: extruded and cast. Between the two, extruded is more widely used because it is more affordable and readily available (extruded acrylic is manufactured in bulk and benefits from the economies of scale). Cast acrylic is more expensive because it is liquid acrylic poured into cast molds of predetermined shapes and sizes.
Both types of acrylic work well with CO2 laser cutting machines:
How It Works
Produce crystal clear laser-cut edges and intricate contours with the AP Lazer. Laser engraving the surface of acrylic produces a white contrast against the clear material. Because acrylic engraves and cuts very easily, it’s very popular among laser machine users.
Two Types of Acrylic
- Extruded Acrylic – Cuts cleanly and smoothly; and produces a clear, transparent mark when laser-engraved (best for cutting).
- Cast Acrylic – Produces textured edges when cut; its surface turns frosty-white when laser-engraved (best for artistic engraving).
